Don’t sleep on this place if you’re in east Kensington/fishtown. Always fresh and clean ingredients. Staff are phenomenal and food is always on time. Had amazing pork belly pad Thai and tom yum udon soup. One of the best takeout spots in town.

Lee’s dumplings are amazing. They are two shops down from where I get tattooed and it’s become a little tradition to get food at Lee’s after I get tattooed. Service is so great with making recommendations and friendliness. Food is delicious, fresh and fast. Definitely a must every time I’m in the area.

If we’re talking about hidden gems, this place is absolutely what we mean! 10/10 food, service, flavor profile, depth, pricing. I randomly found this on Google coming from the gym and it had really good reviews so I decided to stop in. The woman at the counter Lisa was so friendly and accommodating, and helping me make my decision. She really took the time to describe all of the ingredients to me and decipher which dish would be best suited for me. I ended up getting the Thai peanut noodles with shrimp, after one bite I was blown away at the flavor. So delicious, not too salty, not too sweet. Just the perfect flavor profile. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and it was nice and steaming hot. Oh & the chilli crisp on the side??? IN LOVE. I decided to eat in, and they provided me with a free water bottle, which was so kind. Shortly after her husband arrived, he was equally as courteous and accommodating. I loved chatting with them about the background of the restaurant and I will 1000% be back to try everything else on the menu! My new GO-To for Thai food in the city.

We needed to grab a bite before a performance, and we sure picked the right spot. Incredibly friendly and generous service, with delicious juicy dumplings and a mango salad that hit every note! Definitely built for takeout, we still had a really nice time eating at the two seats in the window before bundling up the hefty leftovers (portion size is fantastic). I'll definitely be back!!

This is the kind of place that unless its your destination, your peripheral vision is going to notice it. I went at about 2 PM on Thu. Only 2 seats in the place. I had the Chicken with Cilantro dumplings. My concerns on quantity were dismissed when I was served what you see in the pix. I left full and fully satisfied. You could smell them being prepared. Everything is made to order. Portions were generous with the moist chicken and accompanying sauce working perfectly. I am most definitely returning this weekend. If I liked it, you'll love it.
